Sistem Monitoring Ruang Kosong pada Area Parkir Menggunakan Teknologi Internet of Things

Abstrak
Meningkatnya jumlah kendaraan di kawasan urban menimbulkan permasalahan serius terkait ketersediaan lahan parkir, terutama di pusat perbelanjaan, perkantoran, dan lingkungan kampus. Kesulitan dalam menemukan ruang parkir kosong menyebabkan kemacetan, pemborosan bahan bakar, serta peningkatan emisi gas buang. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem monitoring area parkir berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu mendeteksi keberadaan kendaraan pada setiap slot parkir secara real-time menggunakan sensor. Informasi ketersediaan slot parkir ditampilkan melalui media digital untuk mempermudah pengendara dalam menemukan ruang parkir yang tersedia tanpa harus berkeliling. Sistem ini juga mendukung pengelolaan parkir yang lebih efisien melalui pemantauan kondisi lahan parkir secara otomatis dan terpusat. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan lahan parkir dan mengurangi waktu pencarian ruang parkir secara signifikan.
